Papa stache dirty shirley mini review7/14/2023 “Here Comes The King” chugs along and builds steam before ultimately becoming a vehicle for powerhouse vocalist Dino Jelusick. Three tracks from the album were made available online prior to the official release date - “Here Comes The King” (the first single / video), “Dirty Blues” and “I Disappear.” They also happen to be the first three songs on the disc. The album cover is a play on Grant Wood’s 1930 painting American Gothic and portrays a young, ominous looking couple in place of the old farmers that are depicted in the original art. Their debut album was released on January 24 th on Frontiers Music Srl. Which brings us to Dirty Shirley, his latest musical venture featuring Trans-Siberian Orchestra / Animal Drive vocalist Dino Jelusick, bassist Trevor Roxx and drummer Will Hunt. Scary will be pulling double duty on the tour, playing his set with Lynch Mob and then joining Dokken on stage for a few songs each night. 2020 seems to be a continuation of that trend, with Lynch Mob both readying a new album and hitting the road with Dokken. That’s not to mention his countless solo records/compilations and even a foray into film with Shadow Nation. In addition to touring and recording with his main outfit, Lynch Mob, he’s been steadily involved in a plethora of side projects/upstart bands in recent years ( Souls of We, Sweet & Lynch, T&N, Lynch/Pilson, The End Machine, KXM, Ultraphonix). Not only is he arguably one of the greatest rock guitarists of our time, he’s also one of the most prolific musically.
